We can’t say enough good things about Carlene .  She came highly recommended from a friend who had recently bought a home in north Scottsdale.  From the moment we first spoke to Carlene on the phone, we felt comfortable with her real estate expertise and her knowledge of the area.  We live in Denver and needed somebody who knew the area well.  We also needed a real estate agent who would listen—actually listen—to our desires and our needs in a new home.  Carlene listened.  We began making day trips to Scottsdale.  Arrive in the morning from Denver, leave at night.  We would land early, meet up with Carlene, and immediately start looking at homes.  Carlene carved out a full day for us on a number of occasions and had a list of homes ready for viewing.  Talk about power shopping!  Some days, we looked at 12-15 homes.  Carlene had a great feel for what we wanted.  Out of the approximately 50-60 homes we looked at over a two month period, there might have been two or three that didn’t appeal to us at all.  In other words, Carlene didn’t waste our time just trying to make a sale.  She really cared about what we wanted and didn’t believe in “throwing you-know-what against the wall and seeing if it sticks.”  I also had a specific model and builder in mind and Carlene kept her eye out for that specific type of home.  Finally, we found it, put in a bid and the negotiation started.  Carlene was great in this process, also.  She and Shelly were very well-versed in Arizona laws re: buyer-seller agreements.  They were also very upfront with us if we got too unrealistic in our thought process re: negotiating a price.  In the end, we were very happy with the price we paid for our home.  We believe we got a great deal on a great home in a great area.  But Carlene’s help didn’t end there.  Besides hooking us up with a good inspector prior to the close, she hooked us up with everybody else we needed AFTER the close—from dry wallers to electronics experts to landscape artists to house managers.  She had a recommendation—and sometimes a few good recommendations—for every need we had.  Through Carlene, we found very competent, capable, fairly priced workers to come to the house and get it ready for our move-in.  And now that we ARE moved in and as we find other things we need to make the house more comfortable and to meet our needs, we’re still leaning on Carlene for recommendations.  We can’t say enough about Carlene’s knowledge and service.  We would highly recommend her to anybody—family, friends, anybody looking to purchase or sell a house in Scottsdale.  It’s not easy doing something like this from 1,000 miles away, but Carlene MADE it easy for us.  We’re thrilled to have found her and grateful to have worked with her. Selling My Mother’s Home -- Dec 2019

Carlene helped me sell my mother’s house in Phoenix. I’m from out of town and, after my mother passed away, I needed to sell her house before returning home across the country. A family friend recommended I call Carlene. She and her team walked us through the whole process and got the house sold quickly. Carlene worked around my schedule to get photos of the house and show it. She even helped me coordinate the estate sale. Carlene sold the house before I left Phoenix and even worked with me to set up closing so I didn’t have to fly back across the country to Arizona. She and her team were efficient, helpful and compassionate. I’m glad they were recommended to me.
